12 Months

DESCRIPTION OF WORK CARRIED OUT:
Australian Staging and Rigging was contracted by Hansen Yuncken to provide access for many aspects of the construction of the Wave and Edge Buildings.
Beginning with two gantries and a 20/32 Alimak Man and Material hoist, ASR was one of the first contractors on site and one of the last to complete their work.
The projects required significant scaffolding structures to be built on most elevations of the buildings.
The contemporary nature of the design of the Wave building in particular required ASR personnel to develop innovative access solutions.
Swing stages were used to provide several contractors with access for the final facade finishing.
Throughout the project literally 100's of metres of edge protection was erected by ASR personnel to ensure safety on the worksite.
Lift entry gates were also installed to prevent unauthorised access to lift shafts.
