DESCRIPTION OF WORK CARRIED OUT:
Australian Staging and Rigging was contracted by Hansen Yuncken to provide access for the VS1 building known as 'The SA Water Building' in Victoria Square. A twin Alimak 20/32 hoist was installed to provide safe efficient access for materials and personnel.
Scaffolding was used throughout the project and a significant amount of edge protection provided a safe working environment for all contractors on site.
The most significant aspect of ASR's work on this site were the numerous Hek Mast Climbers used. Mast climbers were installed at over 12 different locations around the building. Many different deck configurations were used to provide safe access to several different contractors. This was necessary because of the contemporary nature of the exterior design of the building.
